Farmhouse Creations, LLC started as a labor of love to create quality products in an effort to help raise cancer awareness.
Founder Lisa Speicher has battled breast cancer three times during the last 14 years. Lisa met Susan Campbell in 2003, while making products for friends and relatives from her little farmhouse. Susan, who literally lived across the bean field from Lisa, began handing out the “farmhouse creations” to family, friends, and co-workers. It wasn’t long before the two were getting daily requests to make more products for their friends to purchase. At that time, they decided that there needed to be a greater purpose, or “cause” behind their work – cancer awareness.
Lisa and Susan would like to reach as many individuals as possible to make others aware of the importance of supporting LOCAL cancer patients. Approximately 90% of Farmhouse Creations donations are given to Cancer Services of East Central Indiana, or CSECI.
CSECI is a not-for-profit agency that assist patients with the financial and physical burdens of a cancer diagnosis. CSECI is a LOCAL agency. They are NOT affiliated with nor do they receive funding from the American Cancer Society.
All wholesale orders have the option to have their donations sent to their local community cancer affiliation, or keep it here in Delaware County. All donations are made “in honor” of the wholesaler.
Fundraisers get a donation made in their honor to a local cancer affiliation as well.
